The pasture-scale livestock hub: gathers HerdTag and HerdBand long-range wearables over Sub-GHz LPWAN at up to 5 km to the nearest node, connects by Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, or cellular LTE, places itself with GPS, supports light facility sensing and feeding-house control, and stays online on plug-in, solar, or battery, including up to 96 hours of backup, so open-field herds stay live on HerdLink.

Open pastures and wide livestock estates need a radio hub that reaches animals far from the barn. HerdGate LR is the long-range livestock gateway: a Sub-GHz LPWAN head-end that collects ear-tag and neckband traffic across open fields, with coverage up to 5 km to the nearest node, connects upstream through Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular LTE, places itself with GNSS/GPS, forwards herd events to HerdLink, and gives operators a reliable pasture-scale bridge between animals and the dashboard. Beyond wearable ingest, LR carries the same focused sensor and actuator ports as the close-boundary gateway family, enough to attach environmental monitors or feeding-house controls when the site needs them, without overloading the gateway’s primary herd-radio mission. Power is built for real facilities: onboard battery, plug-in supply, or solar panel, including solar-only sites with no power port, and up to 96 hours of battery backup when grid or plug-in power fails. Register and supervise it from HerdLink Web or Mobile; configure internet uplink in a familiar IP-device style (DHCP or static IP on Wi-Fi / Ethernet / LTE); pair with HerdTag Ear LR, HerdBand Neck LR, HerdScan, and HerdID for milking and fattening herds that range outdoors.

HerdGate LR (HL-GL1) — the pasture-scale hub that keeps open-field herds visible on HerdLink, connected by Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or LTE, even when the power does not cooperate.
