Open-field neckband for pastures, LPWAN reach up to 2 km to the next node, the same behavior and identity stack as Ear LR, plus solar and motion/vibration harvesting, geofence ringer, HerdScan RFID, and on-demand GPS to find the band even outside the farm.

When open pastures call for a neckband instead of an ear tag, visibility, handling practice, or species fit, HerdBand Neck LR delivers the same long-range intelligence in a collar form. Sub-GHz LPWAN links up to 2 km from the next node (via HerdGate LR and the field mesh); vitals and activity feed HerdLink; the on-band ringer supports geofence control; RFID supports HerdScan at weigh and parlor; and on-demand global GPS locate pinpoints a missing animal or band even outside the farm and beyond gateway range. The intelligence stack matches the close-boundary neckband, behavior, health, identity, and GPS — with the difference in how it talks to the gateway: LPWAN for open-field reach instead of short-range barn radio. Heart rate and body temperature support heat / breeding windows, early health watch, stress, and activity patterns for milking and fattening herds outdoors. Global GPS supports on-demand locate (including outside the farm / beyond gateway coverage) and settable on-farm GPS updates (for example every few hours, or an interval you choose). Power is built for continuous duty: LiFePO4 with active solar charging and vibration / piezoelectric harvesting from animal motion, targeting lifetime operation. Pair with HerdGate LR for pasture-scale coverage.

HerdBand Neck LR (HL-NB-LR) — open-field neck intelligence with LPWAN reach; global GPS on demand to find a band even outside the farm.
