BLX109-CER keeps the proven BLX109 platform, STM32WB09, Bluetooth LE 5.4, castellated 15.6 × 12 mm footprint, 4-layer RF with IPD matching and Faraday shielding, and integrates a ceramic antenna so the radio and radiator live in one module. You still get 512 KB Flash, 64 KB RAM, modern LE feature set, ultra-low sleep, and hardware crypto. What you drop is the external IPEX lead and the mechanical tax of routing RF off-board. Ideal for RF-friendly plastic bands, tags, patches, and sealed portables where “antenna included” beats “antenna optional.” Share firmware and bring-up with BLX109; choose CER when shell volume and assembly simplicity win, IPEX when the radiator must leave the board.
